North Carolina-training capital
Well, here is the pain chart from Sholl/Farmer craziest Tuesday ride EVER! We climbed up Mount Mitchell. It appears to be the tallest mountain east of the Miss. Tim and I both figure it was about 30 degrees at the top with the wind chill. The wind must have been blowing about 30-40 mph. Here's some general info about the mountain. We had about a 12-17 mile downhill sailing along about 25-35 mph the entire time. Pedaling? what is that. Although you can see our average on the way up wasn't so grand...clicking along at 7-11 mph and 5-6 mph in some really steep spots. The top hurt the most, about a 5 mile almost straight up. Oweee.I have gathered the data for 3 glorious days of sunny warm weather riding as well.
7677 Calories
150 Miles
10 Hours of riding/saddle time
12,375 Feet of Climbing
11,440 Feet of Decent
Now...who's ready for Spring?
